Fast-rising country star Hunter Hayes may be the most 'wanted' man at the Taste of Country Music Festival this June. Just 21 years old, Hayes is on top of the world right now, having just scored his first No. 1 hit with his recent single, 'Wanted.'

Though young, Hayes is certainly no stranger to performing. He began making regular appearances on national TV from childhood, including 'Maury,' 'Rosie O'Donnell,' the Nickelodeon game show 'Figure It Out' and 'America's Most Talented Kids.' The aspiring songwriter graduated high school at 16 and moved to Nashville to sign a publishing deal, writing the Rascal Flatts tune 'Play' in 2008.

He has opened for the Flatts, Taylor Swift and most recently, Carrie Underwood, while his self-titled debut album has scored three hit singles in 'Storm Warning,' Wanted' and 'Somebody's Heartbreak.' Last September he broke a record that had stood since 1973 when 'Wanted' ascended to the top of the Billboard charts, making Hayes the youngest solo male country artist ever to occupy that slot.

The young star will join an all-star lineup that also includes Lady Antebellum, Willie Nelson, Trace Adkins, Billy Currington, Montgomery Gentry, Justin Moore, Blackberry Smoke, Joe Nichols, Gloriana, Dustin Lynch and more at the festival, which takes place June 13-15 at Hunter Mountain in the Catskill Mountains of New York.
