15% of Pet Owners Will Dress Up Their Pet This Halloween
Americans are pet crazy. I'm not telling you anything new. Americans love their pets and when it comes to remembering their four- legged friends on the holidays, some people will spoil their pets especially on Halloween and Christmas.
Southern Tier stores were packed over the weekend with people scurrying around to find just the right costume for their little Bowzer or Fluffy. According to TIME Magazine, "Americans are expected to collectively spend $370 million on pet costumes this Halloween, $70 million more than last year."
While some go all out, some keep it simple. Photos are the number one reason people dress their pets to impress. That's one reason why we are having such a good time with our Digital Pet Parade on the HAWK web site. If you've got the photos ready to upload to Instagram, we would love to see them.
