If you have a picky little eater who only eats Tyson chicken nuggets, now might be a good time to check your freezer to make sure that you don't have the nuggets involved in Tyson's recall of over 130 thousand pounds of cooked chicken nuggets. after a customer complained that the found something hard and plastic in their nugget.

The nuggets are under recall after a customer complained that the found something hard and plastic in their nugget. Tyson thinks the unwanted find might have come from a hard plastic rod, part of a transfer belt at the plant where the nuggets were manufactured and to be on the safe side, they’ve issued the recall.

The recalled products are the five-pound bags of Tyson’s fully cooked chicken nuggets. The bags being recalled have a use-by date of July 18, 2017. Also involved in the recall are 20 pound bulk packages of Tyson’s Spare Time nugget sha[ed chicken breast patty fritters made with rib meat.

While no customers have reported becoming sick or getting injured, Tyson recommends that if you have either product in the recall that you throw it away, or return it to the store where you bought it for a full refund.

If you can’t remember where you bought your recalled Tyson chicken, you can cut the UPC and date code off the back of the packaging and send it to Tyson for a full refund.
