Is there anything wrong with being called a redneck? No.  Every state has rednecks and New York is no exception.  If you're reading this chances are you know of one, consider yourself a redneck or want to learn to be one.

I could go in to a couple of my favorite redneck jokes but in this day and age, I should be politically correct and anyway, the internet is full of them.  And if you're really craving redneck humor, there's a Jeff Foxworthy video a YouTube click away.   Did Jeff Foxworthy ever play Binghamton?  I know Larry The Cable Guy has been here a bunch of times but not sure about Jeff.  Did I really miss him in my hometown?  I saw him live in Nashville back in the day and laughed non-stop.

Anyway, there's a new video circulating that's pretty funny: "The 10 Most Redneck Cities in New York Explained."  The video, I'm sure made by a ...you guessed it... redneck, lists a bunch of cities (and towns) based on the number of dollar stores, Wal Marts, and as Luke Bryan sings, Huntin' and Fishin'! .  I'm upset because the Binghamton area has plenty of dollar stores, 2 Wal Marts and some awesome outdoor sports, but we didn't make the list.

Take a look and let us know if you've been to any of these cities.  Okay.  I can't fight the urge anymore.  You might be a redneck if you've been to all these cities and towns in this video!
